Dear CODE27 Family,

The team has been hard at work handling the remaining fulfillment, pushing out bug fixes, and working on features we know everyone is excited about. This patch we are releasing the long-awaited Custom Voices feature and subtitles!

Custom Voices are now available!

You can now create a custom voice from your own recording and use it with your Codie. Custom Voices currently support Rose Series voices. Support for additional voice series may be expanded in future updates.

Subtitles 💬

While your Codie is speaking, their words will appear as text along the bottom of the display, and there will be subtitle settings to toggle them and control how they look. Here's a sneak preview to the upcoming feature.

Emoticon Effects 💭

Your Codie is getting a new way to show what they're feeling, pulling from C.O.D.I.E. Framework's 27 emotions system. A thought bubble with an emoticon pops up beside them during conversation, so you can see their internal reaction while they talk.

Data Management 🗂️

We're improving the tools to manage your Codies by adding:

• Delete chat history
• Edit or delete diary entries
• Reset a Codie
• Clear user data
• Restore factory settings
• Other Improvements 🛠️
  Added a 12-hour / 24-hour time format setting
• Rebuilt lip sync on a new approach for closer matching between your Codie's voice and mouth movement
• Reorganized the Settings page menu so options are easier to find
• Continuing to tune the volume curve so volume levels feel more natural across the range

Bug Fixes 🐛

• Fixed compatibility issues with some VRM models, including a crash loop they could trigger
• Fixed alarms, notes, and other items set from the Codie Management System landing in a different time zone than your CODE27
• Fixed a number of other known issues
