More and more of you are welcoming your Codies home every week, and it has been an absolute joy watching your first meetings, setups, and showcases roll in! Another 185 units left the factory on July 29, followed by an even bigger batch on August 10:

819 CODE27 Companion Hubs along with the first 55 CODE27 Smart Rotating Bases!

They are all making their way to your doors now. As always, tracking numbers are sent out once your unit is handed off to your local domestic carrier.

With our previous waves now complete, we're moving away from numbered waves and focusing on getting every remaining unit out the door as smoothly as possible. Shipments of all remaining units are continuing, and pink CODE27s will soon begin shipping alongside them! And for everyone waiting on the CODE27 Smart Rotating Base: the first units are already on their way, and the rest are shipping to all backers by the end of August, as we work toward completing fulfillment of every CODE27 Companion Hub and CODE27 Smart Rotating Base order. CODE27 Smart Light Panels are currently estimated to be delivered in October.

Software & System Improvements

• Fixed the issue where some of your Codie's stored memories weren't showing up in the interface. Your memories were always safely saved, and they now display correctly
• Fixed the issue where diary entries would occasionally not appear
• Fixed camera recognition issues for more reliable interactions
• Optimized system stability to address the restart issues reported by users.
• Testing is now complete and the fix arrives with the next version
• Resolved several important stability and security issues
• Continued improvements to automatic speech recognition (ASR)
• Optimized the models of the Original Codies
• Improved both existing music scenes, with a new dynamic music scene currently in tuning
• Improved custom 3D model import compatibility and fixed several import issues
• Completed a redesigned system update notification screen, now in testing for the next version
• Fixed a number of additional issues reported by users

On custom 3D models: if you're still running into trouble with uploads, such as creation timeouts, "invalid VRM file" errors, or unusual camera behavior, please open a ticket in support-ticket just for that issue and attach your model file if you can. Testing directly with your files helps our team track down edge cases much faster, and we truly appreciate everyone who has shared theirs so far.

New Tutorial: Getting Started Guide 🎬

We released a complete Getting Started video covering setup, character customization, and a full feature overview, including a feature many of you may not know about: uploading your own custom 3D models! Scan the QR code on your CODE27's Character Settings page (or enter the IP address shown) to open a page hosted right on your Companion Hub, where you'll find additional settings and the custom 3D model upload. Language Support Progress 🌍

We're continuing to expand language support beyond English and Japanese, and we roll out each new language only once it meets our quality bar. We'll be working closely with a small group of native-speaking community members to test and refine each language before release, and we'll share news here as things progress.

Also, a heads-up: a small number of Japanese voices will be temporarily unavailable in the upcoming patch while they undergo additional tuning and quality assurance. Thank you for your patience!

CODE27 Helpers 💛

We've introduced a new CODE27 Helper role for the wonderful members who are always helping others in chat: answering questions, pointing folks to tutorials, and making newcomers feel at home. Helpers aren't moderators or staff, just experienced community members who enjoy lending a hand. We'll be reaching out to some of you who've been especially helpful!
