CODE27 Quick Start Guide

The CODE27 Smart Rotating Base is an official accessory designed for CODE27 Companion Hub. It allows Codie to rotate automatically or manually, helping the character face you more naturally during interaction.
It also includes an independent built-in power supply, so CODE27 can be used more flexibly in different indoor spaces.

The Smart Rotating Base is designed exclusively for CODE27 Companion Hub.
It is not intended for use with other devices, monitors, speakers, laptops, or general household objects. For the best experience and safety, please use it only with CODE27 Companion Hub.

When used with CODE27 Companion Hub, the base can rotate according to interaction needs, helping Codie face the user more naturally.
The rotation behavior is controlled through CODE27’s system. Actual performance may vary depending on the device setup, software version, camera visibility, and surrounding environment.

Yes. The Smart Rotating Base includes physical left and right rotation buttons.
Press and hold a button to rotate the base in the corresponding direction. Release the button to stop rotation. This gives you quick manual control when you want to adjust Codie’s viewing angle directly.

Yes. The Smart Rotating Base has a built-in battery that can provide independent power to CODE27 Companion Hub.
This allows you to place CODE27 in more flexible indoor locations without keeping it connected to a wall outlet at all times. Actual battery life may vary depending on CODE27’s usage, brightness, audio playback, type of Codie interaction, and rotation usage.

CODE27 Companion Hub does not have an internal battery, so the base does not “charge” the device.
Instead, the Smart Rotating Base supplies power to CODE27 when it is not connected to a power adapter. When the base itself is connected to power, it can support power passthrough while charging its own battery.

Place CODE27 Companion Hub securely on top of the Smart Rotating Base, then connect the base and CODE27 Companion Hub using the required USB-C power connection.
For stable performance, please use the official CODE27 Companion Hub's power adapter and cable. Using an incompatible charger or cable may cause unstable power supply, startup issues, or reduced performance.

First, make sure that Face Tracking is set to "ON." You can find this setting in Settings→External Devices→Base→Face Tracking. Ensure the base is turned on and has enough battery power. Then check that CODE27 Companion Hub is properly placed on the base and that the USB-C connection is secure.
If manual rotation works but smart rotation does not, please check whether CODE27 Companion Hub’s software is up to date and whether the camera view is blocked. If the issue continues, restart CODE27 Companion Hub and the base, then try again.

To reduce power consumption, the Smart Rotating Base may enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
You can wake it by using the power switch, reconnecting power, or pressing the rotation buttons. If the base does not respond, please charge it and confirm that the main power switch is turned on.

Use the Smart Rotating Base on a flat, stable indoor surface. Do not use it as a general rotating stand, do not place heavy objects on it, and do not force the base to rotate by hand.
When CODE27 Companion Hub is placed on the base, do not place objects heavier than 0.44 lbs (200g) on top of CODE27 Companion Hub. Keep the base away from water, high heat, strong impact, and unstable surfaces.

The Smart Rotating Base has a 3000 mAh (22.2 Wh) internal battery that can power a CODE27 Companion Hub for 2 hours with light use. Actual battery life may vary based on usage conditions.
