Dear CODE27 Family,

We have been working hard to ramp up production, and we are excited to share another shipping update with you!

Since our last update, we have shipped an additional 728 CODE27 units from our factory, including both black and white editions, to backers around the world.

Some units have already arrived at local warehouses in your region, while others are still in transit. Some backers have already received their CODE27, and we are starting to see more Codies joining their new homes every day.

We have partnered with local fulfillment partners across different regions to help ensure a smoother and faster delivery experience.

CODE27 Software Version 1.4 Is Now Available!

We are excited to release Version 1.4, which includes several new features and improvements our team has been working on.

New features include:

Alarm Mode

Wake up with your Codie's voice instead of a traditional alarm sound. We hope starting your day with your favorite companion feels a little more fun and personal.

Reminders

Set reminders to help you stay organized and keep track of important tasks.

Music Mode Preview

An early version of Music Mode is now available, allowing your Codie to dance along with your music with beat-reactive backgrounds.

We have also included various bug fixes and performance improvements to make your CODE27 experience smoother.

Shipping Progress Update

We are continuing to follow our shipping plan. Wave 5 is currently in progress, with:

• New Music Mode: Watch your Codie dance as you listen to music from your connected Bluetooth device or song stored on your microSD card! Choose from 3 different dance styles: Calm, Active, and Energetic!

• New Voicebanks Your Codie has new voices to use! Check out the new Tulip voice group in the Voice settings!

• New Alarm Clock Mode Wake up to your Codie's voice and a customizable alarm sound!

• New Reminders Feature Ask your Codie to remind you at a specific time to do something and they'll do so in a fun way!

• New Notes Feature Ask your Codie to jot something down for you and it'll show up in the Notes page!

Improved Diary Feature Your Codie summarizes your day with them from a first person perspective, writing a colored view from their persona and giving you a peek into their world.

• Added Face Tracking Mode for Smart Rotating Base add-on Your Codie can turn to face you by following your face. While the smart rotating base is still being developed, an early version of the Smart Rotating Base was shown off at Anime Expo.

• Added More Animations Your Codie is continuously learning more animations from our mocap team and the animation library has expanded! Here's a cute one that was just added!
• Added Offline Mode You can access certain features without a network connection! We are working on bringing more features to Offline Mode. Bug

Fixes and Improvements

• Improved the default persona for Lilya
• Improved the response times for dialogue
• Fixed an issue when using an external mic with the 3.5mm port
• Fixed an issue with Bluetooth music controls
• Fixed an issue with echo cancellation becoming bugged after using external headphones
• Fixed an issue with Bluetooth music playback when headphones are plugged in
